    What is laser cladding?

    Laser cladding is a surface modification technology. It involves adding cladding material to the substrate surface and using a high-energy-density laser beam to melt and consolidate it together with a thin layer of the substrate surface, thereby forming a metallurgically bonded cladding layer on the substrate surface.

    The advantages of laser cladding

    The cladding line speed can reach 100m/min, and the cladding efficiency can reach 1.2㎡/h with a specific process.
    The surface of the cladding layer is flat and can be directly ground and polished.It can perform thin coating cladding (0.2mm-0.3mm) and medium-thick coating cladding (0.3-1.5mm), taking into account both thin and thick coatings.

    The dilution rate with the base material can be controlled, and the original characteristics of the cladding material can be maintained.The heat input to the workpiece is small, resulting in little thermal deformation of the workpiece.It can achieve surface strengthening of non-ferrous metal materials such as copper, aluminum, and titanium.

Ceramic material: It has high hardness, high wear resistance and good chemical stability.
